How To Find A Good Used Golf Cart
If you look at the very first golf cart you can see that it has not changed a great deal since then. It is essentially a small utility truck intended to help get golfers and their bags of clubs from one hole to the next. They are simple and very economical vehicles running on either a gas engine or a battery powered electric motor.
The amount of miles a golf cart does means it doesn’t get a great deal of wear and the worst cart you see will probably be one with a dent where someone forgot to stop in time. With the correct maintenance and servicing you can expect a golf cart to last for many years making a used golf cart a great buy when compared with the cost of new ones.
It doesn’t cost a lot to run a golf cart and both the gas powered and electric ones are very economic. Some people are really passionate about electric or gas but I don’t really care and either one will do for me.
When you are buying a used golf cart you should check that it has been serviced correctly. Regular servicing is obviously important but there isn’t a lot of wear on either electric or gas carts so it is not too expensive. The electric golf carts have far fewer moving parts and servicing often involves little more than a quick check to ensure the electrical connections are in order. It is unlikely you will wear them out but you should have the tires and the brakes checked occasionally to ensure they are in good order.
You can stand out from the crowd with a customized paint job and seat trim on your golf cart. If you are a fan of something you can decorate your custom cart to suit that theme. There is nothing wrong with wanting to show you consider yourself a little different from the norm.
You will find golf carts used at many different places and at all types of large complexes. You can find golf carts on many different sorts of location from film sets to factories and utility sites to them parks.
Golf carts are great at doing what they do and they go on doing that for years so we should be grateful to the guy who invented them. I guess they can wear out eventually but I never see them piled up at scrapyards and they can be used for things other than golf. Looking online you can find many websites where golf carts are listed as being available to purchase.
